Kerry Washington’s Real-Life Wedding Ring ‘Scandal’

In one episode of Scandal, Olivia Pope is wearing actress Kerry Washington’s real-life wedding ring by mistake. You’ll have to look closely to find it, though, because Washington is not telling which one.
The star confessed to the oversight at Monday’s Accessories Council’s 20th anniversary ACE Awards.
Washington told People magazine she never removes her wedding band unless she’s playing Olivia Pope.
“Sometimes I don’t take it off! But only once,” she said about the notable slip-up.
Though she won’t divulge which episode or even season it happened, she did invite her fans to try to spot it.
“I can’t tell you! If you’re a real fan, you might find it. Keep looking, keep looking!” she said.
Since marrying former NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha last year and welcoming daughter Isabelle in April, Washington’s view of jewelry has changed.
“I’ve never been a big jewelry and accessories person. I think if anything actually I find that I wear more jewelry more consistently because now I wear my wedding band,” Washington told People. “I’ve never really had a piece of jewelry that I wear all the time, and now I do.”
So what does she usually do with her wedding band when she’s filming?
“It’s usually pinned somewhere on me,” she said.
