Idaho Falls, Idaho — The Museum of Idaho will be presenting an original display, The Fight for Peace: WWI’s Allied Veterans to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the start of World War I and honor our country’s veterans and military personnel.

On Veteran’s Day, November 11, the Museum of Idaho will be offering free admission to veterans and active military personnel with military identification.

Beginning Monday, November 10, the museum will display flags from allied countries involved in the First World War.  Bonneville Post 56 of the American Legion collected the flags from 1925-1935.

Along with the flags, there will be a letter writing station where visitors are encouraged to write a letter of thanks to Idaho’s active servicemen and women.
