Obama Family Welcomes White House Christmas Tree
Published at(WASHINGTON) — It’s a sure sign of Christmastime in Washington– the arrival of the White House Christmas Tree.
Drawn by two clydesdales, the 20-foot White Fir rolled up to the North Portico on Friday for Michelle Obama, Sasha, and Malia to review.
This year’s winner of the National Christmas Tree contest was grown by Chris Botek of Lehighton, Pa. It will stand decorated in the Blue Room through the holidays.
