“Parenthood’s” Craig T. Nelson Says Midseason Finale Is a Tearjerker
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — The midseason finale of the NBC drama Parenthood airs Thursday night at 10 p.m. Eastern time.
Craig T. Nelson, who plays the rough-around-the-edges patriarch of the Braverman family, Zeek, says the episode is a real tearjerker. When asked by ABC News Radio how many tissue boxes viewers will need when watching it, on a scale of one to five, he replied, “I think this is a niner.”
Nelson typically sheds a tear or two while watching his show with his wife. He says, “I’m crying. I’m crying at this. I don’t even remember doing it half the time.”
Nelson says he won’t live tweet the midseason finale, joking, “I don’t tweet. And I don’t tweak and I’m not a twerterer.”
Parenthood will return in January for its final few episodes to end its six-season run.
Also on Thursday night, ABC will air the midseason finales of Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder.
