Police: Kidnapped Idaho Man Found Dead in Oregon
Published at | Updated atNAMPA, Idaho (AP) – Authorities say a 46-year-old man kidnapped from his southwest Idaho home has been found dead in his vehicle in eastern Oregon.
Police say the body of Jeffrey Dyer was found Sunday afternoon in Ontario, Oregon, and the death is being investigated as a homicide.
Police say that at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday two individuals entered Dyer’s home in Nampa and forced him into his 1995 Cadillac Seville.
Nampa Police Sgt. Joe Ramirez says the relationship between Dyer and the individuals who entered his home is unclear, but that it wasn’t a random attack.
