The Giants issued a $15.3 million offer to Sandoval, one he has seven days to accept or decline.

The 28-year-old hit .279 with 16 home runs and 73 RBI in 2014 for San Francisco and also caught the final out of the World Series. In seven years with the Giants, Sandoval has helped the team to three World Series titles by belting 106 homers, driving in 462 runs and hitting at a .294 clip.

During the postseason, “Kung Fu Panda” has been even better, hitting .344 with six homers and 20 RBI in 39 playoff games.

Sandoval had previously rejected a three-year, $40 million contract extension in March and earned $8.25 million this past season.

Sandoval was one of 12 different Major Leaguers that had qualifying offers issued on Monday. All will have until Nov. 10 to decide, but none of the 22 offers extended in the last two years have been accepted.
