“Shark Tank” Celebrates 100th Episode Friday Night

ABC(NEW YORK) — Shark Tank celebrates its 100th episode on Friday night. For the first time in Shark Tank history, all six sharks — Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Kevin O’Leary — will appear together to share their experiences on the ABC series.
When Shark Tank premiered in 2009, John says, he didn’t expect it to survive beyond its first season. He tells ABC News Radio, “I didn’t think that people would get it…and the amazing producers behind it put it in a way that people could understand it. It’s entertaining, it’s educational.”
Cuban, who joined Shark Tank during its third season, is also surprised by its longevity. He says, “Honestly when I came on I thought this was just a business show, it’ll be interesting, I’ll have some fun, and I’ll do my three episodes and it’ll be over. And now it went from I think 12 episodes a season to 26 or 28, and it’s on every day on multiple networks. It’s crazy.”
Shark Tank airs Friday night at 9 p.m. Eastern time.
