The Latest “Hunger Games” Movie, “Mockingjay — Part 1,” Now in Theaters

Lionsgate(NEW YORK) — The latest chapter in The Hunger Games series is now in theaters.
Jennifer Lawrence reprises her role as the rebellious Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1, the first half of the two-part conclusion to the blockbuster adaptation of the Suzanne Collins book series.
When we last saw Katniss, in 2013’s Catching Fire, she helped sabotage her second stint in the cruel Hunger Games. She was then whisked away to District 13.
In Mockingjay — Part 1, Katniss discovers that her Hunger Games partner, Peeta, is being held captive by the Capitol and has been brainwashed. She plots to save him.
Julianne Moore joins the franchise as District 13’s President Alma Coin. The cast also includes Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 is rated PG-13.
