U.S. Central Command said that there were 11 strikes undertaken in Syria, including nine in or around the town of Kobani. The Kobani strikes destroyed four ISIS staging areas, and seven fighting positions, struck a tactical unit and suppressed an eighth fighting position. Two more airstrikes in Syria, near Dayr Az Zawr, struck an ISIS crude oil collection facility and destroyed a tank.

CENTCOM also confirmed 20 strikes in Iraq, targetting areas near Ar Rutbah, Fallujah, al Qaim and Mosul. Those strikes destroyed nine ISIS trucks, five vehicles, two excavators, two front-loaders, two bulldozers, five fighting positions and two tanks. The strikes also damaged one vehicle and one tank, and struck seven ISIS tactical units and one large unit.

In total, the U.S. has taken part in 372 airstrikes in Syria and 431 in Iraq — with an additional 59 Syrian strikes and 83 Iraqi strikes undertaken by coalition aircraft.

The weekend airstrikes included aircraft from the U.S., Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Bahrain, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
