Whole Foods Recalls Vegan Pumpkin Pie Product

According to a press release from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the Vegan pumpking pie products sold in Whole Foods stores in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas contain “undeclared walnuts.” Both full- and half-pies were sold in clear packaging and brown, Kraft paper boxes.

The products had “sell by” dates between Oct. 27 and November 30.

The FDA says that there have been no reported allergic reactions or illnesses linked to the sale of the product. Anyone who has purchases the pies from a Whole Foods store in the four affected states can bring a receipt into the store for a full refund.
