Winning Ticket in $321 Million Mega Millions Drawing Sold in NY

Photo by Kevork Djansezian/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — A New Yorker won the eighth largest jackpot in Mega Millions history on Tuesday night, matching all six numbers and the Mega Ball in the $321 million drawing.
The win was the first since the jackpot was last won in California on August 22. The winning numbers in Tuesday’s drawing were 9, 15, 24, 39, 41 and the Mega Ball number was 1.
In addition to being the eighth largest Mega Millions jackpot ever won, the $321 million prize is the ninth largest U.S. lottery jackpot on a single winning ticket.
