After six seasons with the team, Crabtree is set to become a free agent. With the future of head coach Jim Harbaugh in doubt as well as other members of the team, he’s looking forward to testing the free agent market.

“I’ve grown a lot, seen a lot,” Crabtree said, via CSNBayArea.com. “I feel like we’ve done a lot as a team. I feel like I’ve contributed a lot to the team. Feel like the sky’s the limit for me, and I’m taking it one day at a time. I can’t wait to see what’s next, the next chapter in my career. I’m going to go hard every day. I’m going to go hard every year, try to get better. Try to maximize my talent.”

Crabtree was the 10th overall pick by the 49ers back in 2009. While he’s been a solid player, he never quite lived up to the expectations put on him after a stellar career at Texas Tech.

In 15 games this season, Crabtree has 64 catches for 657 yards and four touchdowns.
