Amazon Prime Boasts Ten Million New Subscribers this Holiday Season

“We are excited to welcome more than ten million new members to Amazon Prime this holiday season,” Amazon’s founder and CEO Jeff Bezos said Friday. He noted that those new users received free two-day shipping on their holiday gift.
Prime allows subscribers to access 700,000 books, one million songs and hundreds of playlists, save unlimited photographs and watch tens of thousands of movies an television episodes.
Also this holiday season, Amazon says it shipped gifts to 185 countries. The last Prime Now order delivered in time for Christmas was placed at 10:24 p.m. on Christmas Eve, the company said.
