Angelina Jolie to Miss “Unbroken” Premiere Due to Chicken Pox

ABC/Rick Rowell(LOS ANGELES) — Angelina Jolie will withdraw from public events over the next few days, Universal Pictures announced Friday due to a bout of chicken pox.
Jolie will miss the premiere of her new film Unbroken, Universal Pictures said on their Facebook page. “You have to laugh at the timing,” Jolie said, “I was sure nothing could stop me from supporting Unbroken. I am heartbroken to miss our premiere.” Jolie’s husband Brad Pitt, and their children, will represent Jolie at Monday’s premiere.
“We all wish Angelina a speedy recovery and look forward to her returning to her work very soon,” Universal Pictures said. They also posted a video message from Jolie to her fans on their Facebook page.
