Body of Missing Four-Year-Old Boy Found in Pond

iStock/Thinkstock(MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.) — The body of a 4-year-old boy with autism has been found after he was reported missing.
Jayden Morrison went missing from his grandmother’s home in Horry County, South Carolina on Christmas Eve.
On Friday morning, Jayden’s body was discovered in a pond near the home. The coroner says the official cause of death is drowning.
Jayden’s family had been visiting South Carolina from White Plains, New York. Jayden’s father, Andre Morrison thanked the more than 100 volunteers that helped search for his son.
“I also want to give an extra warm embrace to the City of Little River and the Low Country region for the love and support,” Morrison said. “To me he was just pure… in fact a hero.”
