The Browns had to send their security personnel to his home on Saturday morning after he failed to show up at team headquarters to have his injured hamstring worked on. He told the team that he had overslept.

“I feel like because the perception that I base around myself, and I’ve done this to myself, that was allowed to be reported, and people were allowed to just nod their head and act like that went on, when in fact it was completely untrue,” Manziel said.

The Browns suspended wide receiver Josh Gordon for the season finale against the Baltimore Ravens after he missed the team walk-through. Initial reports stated that Gordon was with Manziel at the party.
