Copper Thief Caught on Camera

Idaho Falls, Idaho — What a difference a day makes. High-tech camera equipment was installed at Idaho Falls Powers’ main facility the day before the a copper thief was caught on camera committing a crime.
Forty-nine year old Terry Waid is in custody after he was caught stealing $1,100 worth of copper wire from Idaho Falls Power on Christmas eve. The crime occured around 11 p.m.
Waid was arrested grand theft and cited for vandalism. He also caused $200 worth of damage to a fence.
