Former Korean Air Executive Apologizes for Outburst over Nuts
Published at(SEOUL, South Korea) — A former Korean Air Lines executive apologized Friday for going “nuts” on a flight earlier this month, delaying hundreds of passengers in New York.
Cho Hyun-Ah resigned Tuesday following the outburst, stemming from the way an attendant served snack nuts.
Cho reportedly burst into anger when the crew served her macadamia nuts in a bag, not on a plate as instructed in the company service manual for first-class passengers.
Dressed in a black suit on her way to the transport ministry’s investigation, she told reporters she will apologize to the crewmember with a deep bow.
The ministry is to decide whether Cho’s action was a breach of law.
