Authorities say Broner then entered Kindig’s home.
Broner was being held in the Mini-Cassia Criminal Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.
He’s scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 17.
Broner in the May Republican primary ran unsuccessfully for Minidoka County sheriff.
