Freddie Prinze Jr. Recovering from Spinal Surgery

Jemal Countess/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — Freddie Prinze Jr. spent his Thanksgiving holiday recovering from spinal surgery, but it hasn’t seemed to dampen his spirits.
The 38-year-old actor underwent his surgery last week. Prinze, famous for his roles in the 1990s teen films She’s All That and I Know What You Did Last Summer, as well as the Scooby-Doo movies, which co-starred his wife Sarah Michelle Gellar, tweeted a picture of himself just before going under the knife, and has been sharing regular updates on the social media site.
Prinze, who is currently undergoing physical therapy, had posted a message on Wednesday that read, “learnin to walk again is like learning jiu-jitsu – 1 technique at a time.” However, he clarified on Saturday that he “can walk fine.”
As for why he needed the procedure, Prinze was mostly tight-lipped, saying, “Private medical info amigos. Lets say i had some disc issues that have been resolved.”
