“Our teams offered fights to the families of the fallen officers and are currently working with a partner carrier to assist in flying in the family of Officer [Wenjian] Liu from overseas,” a JetBlue spokesperson told ABC News Wednesday.

Additionally, according to the New York Post, up to two officers from each department will be able to fly at no charge to New York City for the funeral on Saturday.

Ramos and Liu were shot while sitting in their patrol vehicle on Saturday night. City officials, including Police Commissioner William Bratton have called the killing an “assassination.”
