Paul Walker’s Father Files Claim Against Estate of Driver in Fatal Crash

Kevin Winter/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — Paul Walker’s father has filed a claim for more than 1.8 million dollars from the heirs of Roger Rodas, the driver of the car involved in the 2013 crash that claimed the lives of the late Fast and the Furious star and Rodas.
According to E! News, the actor’s father and the executor of his estate, Paul Walker III, states in court documents that Rodas’ family “is in possession of numerous automobiles and other motor vehicles that are either wholly or partially owned” by his son.
Walker’s father is requesting the return of the cars or, if the vehicles are sold, any money earned from the sales.
Walker and Rodas were riding in a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT on November 30, 2013, when it struck a light pole and burst into flames in Valencia, California. An investigation determined that unsafe speed caused the crash.
