The royal couple is visiting New York City and Washington, D.C., for the first time.

They met political royalty — Hillary and Chelsea Clinton — at a conservation reception Monday to combat illegal wildlife trade and Brooklyn royalty — Jay Z and Beyoncé — while watching Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James against the Nets.

“I’m off to shoot some hoops now or whatever it is the Americans call it,” Prince William said before heading to the Barclays Center.

The famously media shy William and Kate later seemed a little uncomfortable when they appeared on the Jumbotron but took it in stride.

After the game, they met James, who gave them cupcakes from his hometown of Akron, Ohio, and a jersey for their son, Prince George, who missed the trip, and another that had “Cambridge” on the back.

Earlier in the day, Prince William went to the White House, where he met President Obama and recounted the day his son was born.

“When George was born, I forgot to work out whether it was a boy or a girl,” he told the president. “The excitement of the event and everything else was just chaos.”

William, 32, admitted that he and his wife will wait to find out the gender of their second born, as Kate, also 32, is five months pregnant.

While William spent time in the capital, Kate made a trip to a youth development center in Harlem, where students thought they were getting a visit from another princess.

“They thought you were the princess from Frozen,” the students’ teacher told Kate.
