Seattle Preys On Philadelphia
Published at(PHILADELPHIA, Pa.) — The Seattle Seahawks are peaking once again as the regular season enters its final month.
Sunday, the defending Super Bowl Champions grounded the high flying Philadelphia Eagles with a 24-14 victory.
Russell Wilson was on his game beating Philadelphia through the air and on the ground. Wilson ran for a touchdown as well as completing 22 of 37 passes for 263 yards and a pair of touchdowns to Marshawn Lynch and Doug Baldwin.
Seattle’s Legion of Boom defense befuddled Mark Sanchez and the Eagles all evening. The Eagles signal caller continued his yo-yo like performance as this week he completed 10 of 20 passes for 96 yards. He also threw an interception and was sacked three times.
The Seahawks now enter a three game divisional slate to end their season. They host a reeling 49ers team next week as part of a stretch that will likely determine the winner of the NFC West.
