Wall Street Gains Continue, Home Sales Down in November

tarabird/iStock/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Wall Street continued its hot streak on Monday, after a strong close to last week’s trading.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 154.64, to a close of 17,959.44.
The Nasdaq gained 16.04 to finish the day at 4,781.42, while the S&P 500 jumped 7.89 to 2,078.54.
U.S. home sales dropped in November, the National Association of Realtors said. After hitting their highest level of the year in October, analysts blame the decrease in sales on increased prices and lower incomes caused by stock market swings.
