“Ryan will start at quarterback. Drew (Stanton) is not going to be able to play,” Arians said.

Lindley is 0-2 this season as a starter and is 1-5 during his career.

Stanton is out for his third straight game due to a right knee injury.

Only seven quarterbacks since 1970 have started a playoff game with one or fewer regular season wins as a starter. The last one of those to win a game was the Houston Oilers Gifford Nielson in 1979.

In the three games Lindley has participated in this season, he’s completed 45 of 93 passes for 562 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions.
