Disaster Preparedness Workshop Planned
Published atSugar City, Idaho — Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) are inviting the public from all over Eastern Idaho to a disaster preparedness workshop this month.
The free program will help people learn skills that are vital in the aftermath of a disaster. Madison County CERT coordinator Jon Corpany tells East Idaho News that it is critical for people to have the skills needed to take care of their own communities.
The workshop will be Saturday January 24 at the Ucon LDS Church Stake center. It begins at 9 am. To get more information or to register online, log on to www.easternidahocert.org.
