Idaho Lawmakers Introduce “Add the Words” Bill

Boise, Idaho — After denying a hearing for nine straight years, the Idaho House approved the introduction of a bill that would include sexual orientation and gender identity protections in the state’s Human Rights Act.

The House Ways and Means Committee voted 6-1 to bring the proposed legislation, commonly called the “Add the Words” bill,  to a full hearing.
