Kevin Garnett Ejected After Headbutting Dwight Howard

Elsa/Getty Images(BROOKLYN, N.Y.) — Kevin Garnett and Dwight Howard were battling for position under the basket in the first quarter Monday night — perhaps are little too hard — and Garnett ended up getting ejected for being literally hard-headed.
Garnett took exception to Howard’s pushing and shoving and bounced the ball off of the Rocket’s center’s head. With just under eight minutes to go in the first quarter, the two began to exchange words and Garnett took the crown of his head to Howard’s jaw.
The NBA league office will review the incident and hand down any disciplinary action if it is deemed necessary.
Back to the action on the court: James Harden lit up the Nets defense as he put up 30 points. Howard would add eight points and five rebounds.
Houston would go on to win the game 113-99.
