(THOMAS COEX/AFP/Getty Images)(PARIS) — The latest issue of satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo has been put to bed ahead of the Wednesday publication date, according to one of the surviving cartoonists.

This issue will be the first released after last Wednesday’s attack in which nine editors and contributors were shot execution-style by terrorists in the publication’s office in Paris.

Other staffers were injured in the attack but the extent of their injuries have not been disclosed and they are expected to make a recovery, according to authorities.

Corinne Rey, the cartoonist who entered the security code allowing the attackers in after they threatened her young daughter, posted an update on the issue to her Twitter account.

“The issue is getting there. Put to bed tonight. We are supporting each other. We are together. Even our injured Riss is drawing. #Charlie #Warrior,” she wrote in an update posted Monday.

The weekly newspaper’s highly anticipated return is already scheduled to make a splash and the number of copies ordered has been increased dramatically as a result.

The newspaper, known largely for its controversial cartoons lampooning religion and politicians, normally prints 50,000 copies per week and that run was increased to one million for this issue.
