Mark Zuckerberg’s First Book Club Choice Sells Out on Amazon

Justin Sullivan/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — When it comes to billionaires and book clubs, it seems that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, like Oprah Winfrey, also has a magic touch.
Zuckerberg’s goal for 2015 is to read one new book every other week and discuss it with fellow readers on his “A Year of Books” Facebook page.
His first book club read, The End of Power by Moisés Naím, was listed as “temporarily out of stock” on Amazon, just three days after he named it his first read of the year. By Monday afternoon, copies of the book returned to the ecommerce site.
The 26 books Zuckerberg chooses this year will focus on “learning about new cultures, beliefs, histories and technologies,” according to his page.
The tech titan takes on an ambitious personal challenge every year. In previous years, he has tackled everything from learning Mandarin to writing thank you notes.
