Chris Evans, who plays Captain America on the big screen, is from Boston and is a Patriots fan. Chris Pratt, who filled the role of Peter Quill/Star-Lord in the Marvel blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy last year, is a native of Lake Stevens, Washington, and roots for the Seahawks. So, the two are now engaged in a friendly — and charitable — rivalry.

Evans decided to needle Pratt on Twitter the other day by writing, “Well, well, well @prattprattpratt, looks like our teams are going into battle. For the next 2 weeks, you are not my friend, you are my enemy.”

Pratt replied, “We both know there’s only one Captain America and his name is Russell Wilson,” the quarterback for the Seahawks.

Evans then suggested the two put something on the line for the big game. Pratt answered that if the Seahawks win, Evans must visit Seattle Children’s hospital as Captain America, waving the 12th Man Flag that represents Seahawks fans at home games.

Evans agreed to the terms on Wednesday, adding, “[W]hen the Patriots humiliate your seachickens, I expect Star-Lord to arrive at @chris_haven in a [Tom] Brady jersey.”

Christopher’s Haven is a non-profit organization that provides supportive housing for families whose children are receiving outpatient pediatric cancer treatments in Boston.

The Seahawks and Patriots will meet in Super Bowl 49 in Glendale, Arizona, on Feb. 1.
