(NEW YORK) — NBA analyst Greg Anthony has been suspended from his duties with CBS after being arrested Friday night.

Both Turner Sports and CBS announced after the arrest that Anthony will not appear on-air for an indefinite period of time. CBS released a statement: “Greg Anthony will not be working again for CBS this season.”

Anthony was arrested in Washington, DC and charged with soliciting a prostitute according to police records. He was arrested in a DoubleTree Hotel as part of an undercover sting targeting prostitution.

“I made a mistake,” Anthony said. “With this lapse of judgment, I embarrassed many, including myself. I will work to regain the trust that I have lost, and the first step is saying that I am sorry.”

Anthony played 11 seasons, with six teams, amassing 5,497 points and 2,997 steals.
