Duke was one of three undefeated teams left in the country heading into Sunday. Third-ranked Virginia and top-ranked Ranked Kentucky remain the final unbeaten teams in college basketball.

The Wolfpack shot 55 percent from the field during the game,  and went 10 for 16 from the 3-point line. Trevor Lacey scored a team-high 21 points.

Despite the loss, Duke freshman center Jahlil Okafor was dominant once again. Okafor registered 23 points, 12 rebounds, three steals, and three blocks.

At one point, NC State led by as many as 19 points. Duke made a late run, trailing by just three points with less than two minutes left in the contest, but the Wolfpack refused to relinquish the lead.

Duke drops to 14-1 while NC now stands at 12-5.
