Eddie Jordan and the Knights achieved what could arguably be the biggest victory in school history as they took down the No.4 team in the country Sunday at “the RAC.”

“It’s a great win for the program,” said Jordan, whose team is in its first season in the Big Ten. “Our crowd was here to witness it. Hopefully it leaves a taste in their mouth and they want more.

Of the nearly 7,000 fan in attendance, several dozen stormed the court, while most maintained their composure and cheered on the victory.

Seniors Kadeem Jack and Myles Mack led the charge for Rutgers scoring 20 and 21 points, respectively.

Jordan took over the team in 2013 after former head coach Mike Rice was discovered to have verbally abused, and had physical altercations with, members of the team.
