In its most recent survey, Nielsen BookScan found that paper book sales increased by 2.4 percent in 2014 at book stores and online retailers like Amazon.

That’s not to say that eBooks are going away. In fact, they’re here to stay.

However, paper still dominates with anywhere from two-thirds to about three-quarters of the book market, depending on which studies you look at.

Meanwhile, a recent Hewlett-Packard survey finds that college students who’ve tried both printed books and eTextbooks, prefer the former to the latter, 57 percent to 21 percent.
