Will Chris Pratt Play Indiana Jones on the Big Screen?

Buena Vista(LOS ANGELES) — Following his star turn in Guardians of the Galaxy last year, will Chris Pratt put on Indiana Jones’ iconic fedora?
Pratt is being eyed by Disney, the parent company of ABC News, to take over the role from Harrison Ford, according to Deadline. However, the website is calling this a “dishy informed rumor” and nothing more at the moment.
It’s worth noting that Guardians of the Galaxy was a film from Marvel, which is also owned by Disney.
Deadline doesn’t mention whether director Steven Spielberg would return for the new installment.
Ford has played the whip-cracking archaeologist in four movies: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The latter film, released in 2008, introduced Indiana Jones’ son, Mutt, played by Shia LaBeouf.
Pratt’s film career is on a roll right now. Aside from the Guardians of the Galaxy blockbuster, he lent his voice to The LEGO Movie last year. He stars in the Jurassic Park movie Jurassic World, due out in June.
