Karl-Anthony Towns scored 19 points, which led six Kentucky players who reached double figures, and the Wildcats reached their highest scoring total since 2002, extending their best start ever.  Kentucky also matched the 1995-1996 team’s school record of 27 straight victories.

“We cherish these moments,” said Towns, who also grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked four shots. “Not every game is going to be like this. We executed, played great defense and also made a lot of shots.”

Kentucky will look to improve to 28-0 on Wednesday February 25th when they meet Mississippi St.
