Bill Seeks to Make Idaho IDs Confrom to Federal Law
Published atBoise, Idaho — Currently, an Idaho Drivers license could keep you off a commercial flight. Legislation seeking to avoid that problem is headed to the House for approval.
If passed in both chambers, the bill would allow Idaho’s transportation agency to request a one-year extension to conform to the federal government’s identification law.
In 2008, Idaho lawmakers passed legislation that banned the state from complying with the federal Real ID Act.
