“At this time it is requested that the media cease speaking with unauthorized members of the family,” a statement released through Brown’s legal counsel said. “Various members of the family have provided media interviews, however, none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina. None of them have firsthand knowledge of Bobbi Kristina’s treatment and the medical staff at Emory University Hospital has not communicated with them.”

Brown said it was important that “the integrity of the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompromised.”

Brown also continued to request privacy, thanking “everyone that supports Bobbi Kristina.”

Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of pop icons Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has been in the hospital since she was discovered by her partner Nick Gordon and a friend on Jan. 31, according to police. Police also noted that she had been in a car accident on Jan. 27.
