Bruins Krejci Out At Least One Month
Published at(BOSTON, Ma.) — The Boston Bruins will be without their top-line center for at least one month as they make a playoff push.
David Krejci will be out for four to six weeks, according to general manager, with a partially torn MCL after a collision with Alexander Steen of the St. Louis Blues on Feb. 20.
Krejci has missed 20 games this season with a groin injury.
The team was 8-9-3 in his absence.
Currently, the Bruins (29-21-9, 67pts) are in eighth place in the eastern conference, just three points ahead of the Florida Panthers (26-21-12, 64pts) for the final playoff spot.
The Bruins signed Krejci to a six-year extension last September worth 43.5 million dollars.
