Curry’s Double-Double Leads Warriors Over Spurs
Published at(OAKLAND, Calif.) — In the Warriors return from the All-Star break they proved that their league-leading record wasn’t a fluke.
Stephen Curry had 25 points and 11 assists, and Klay Thompson added 20 points in the Golden State Warriors 110-99 win over the defending champion San Antonio Spurs, on Friday night.
The Warriors went ahead by 21 points entering the fourth quarter, which led to Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich resting his starters for the entire period.
Golden State entered Friday night with the best home record in the entire NBA at 23-2. One of those two losses was to the Spurs back in November.
