Ex-Seahawk Says Marshawn Lynch Weighing Retirement

Getty S 8212 NFL%20Football?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1423865061096Leon Halip/Getty Images(SEATTLE) — Former Seattle Seahawks fullback, Michael Robinson spoke to Marshawn Lynch about possible retirement, and he confirmed that Lynch isn’t sure if he will continue to play next season.

“My bet would be that he plays next year in Seattle,” Robinson said Thursday during a 710 ESPN Seattle radio interview. “I don’t think Marshawn knows yet. I don’t know what the timeline is. It’s probably going to be a feel thing, and we’ll just see like everybody else.”

After speaking with Lynch, Robinson also said Lynch is contemplating retirement due to the fact of eight years of being in the NFL, and the beating Lynch has taken on his body because of his physical style of running the football.

Lynch held out of the beginning of training camp last year for eight days, before Lynch and the Seahawks agreed to changes in his contract.
