Foster Care Awareness Fair in Idaho Falls

  Published at

IDAHO FALLS — A Foster Care Awareness Fair will be held at the Idaho Falls Public Library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The event was organized by a group of Brigham Young University-Idaho students in cooperation with national non-profit organizations Home Matters, Together We Rise and the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

Booths from all three organizations will be on-site to inform community members how they can help foster children in eastern Idaho. Information will be provided on how to become a foster parent and how to donate to organizations that help ease the transition for children going into foster care.

Refreshments are provided and there will be a raffle where attendees can win gift cards and gift baskets from local businesses.
