Keira Knightley Shares the Worst Part of Her Oscars Nomination

Randy Holmes / ABC(NEW YORK) — It’s safe to assume that Keira Knightley is excited to be nominated for an Academy Award. However, she joked that her pregnancy is putting a damper on her ability to celebrate.
“I can’t drink! I’m up for an Oscar and I can’t drink at the Oscars!” she said on Tuesday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “[My doctor] was like, ‘Any questions?’ and I was like, ‘Yes! When can I drink, please?!’ I just want a margarita.”
Knightley is expecting her first child with her husband James Righton. The two wed in 2013.
Still, the actress said her husband has been doing his fair share of partying for her. “I’m eating for two and he’s drinking for two. It’s brilliant,” she said. “He thinks that because I’m not drinking the free champagne, he has to. All of it.”
The Oscar nominee said she doesn’t know the gender of the baby, nor does she have a birth plan. “What is the plan, apart but to get it out?” she asked. “There isn’t the option to keep it in!”
Knightley announced her pregnancy last month.
