Pictures went viral of Blount holding up a shirt that read “B***h Mode” with the No. 24.

Blount took to Twitter to explain his actions.

“About this shirt…Just so ppl know, I have 100% respect for @MoneyLynch and how he plays the game. There’s a reason he’s called #BeastMode,” he wrote.

In the Patriots win over the Seahawks, Blount carried the ball 14 times for 40 yards.
