MIA Bosh Chris? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1424445947500NBA via Miami Heat(NEW YORK) — Even though the Miami Heat are still riding high after their acquisition of Goran Dragic from the Phoenix Suns on Thursday, the Miami Herald reports that forward Chris Bosh may miss the rest of the season with blood clots in his lungs.

Bosh was recently admitted to a Miami-area hospital after meeting with a doctor regarding recent discomfort he was experiencing. Initial tests proved inconclusive, but the fear is that he has blood clots in his lungs and could be forced to miss the rest of the regular season and the playoffs.

According to Heat guard Dwayne Wade, the 30-year-old Bosh had not felt well since earlier in the All-Star break when the two vacationed together in Haiti.

A 12-year veteran, Bosh is in his fifth season as a member of the Heat.

During the offseason, Bosh signed a five-year, $118 million contract with the team. It is currently the largest guaranteed deal in the NBA.
