Idaho Falls man tasered after alleged domestic dispute

IDAHO FALLS – Police tasered and arrested a man Tuesday night after they say he assaulted an officer following a domestic dispute.
Rusty Price, 48, was booked into the Bonneville County Jail after officers were called to the 700 block of Cleveland. A woman reported she and Price had been arguing when he became physically aggressive. He allegedly damaged items inside the home and threatened the woman with a baseball bat.
She was able to leave and call 911. When police arrived, they say Price still had the bat and acted aggressively toward them. An officer deployed his taser and Price was taken into custody.
Price is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault on an officer, resisting arrest, and a no contact order violation.
