Chargers Sign Jacoby Jones

Scott Boehm/Getty Images(SAN DIEGO, Ca.) — The San Diego Chargers have signed kick returner Jacoby Jones to a two-year, according to the team.
Jones, 30, was released by the Baltimore Ravens on Feb. 25 after he was scheduled to earn $2.5 million for the 2015 season.
The Chargers had a clear need for an impact kick returner as they ranked 28th overall last season with an average return of 22.2 yards. Jones ranked second in the league with 30.6 yards per return.
Jones provided little impact as a receiver last season as he caught a career low nine passes while dropping five.
The Houston Texans selected Jones in the third round of the 2007 draft, where he spent five seasons.
