Del Zotto with an assist from center Sean Couturier bypassed Rangers goaltender Cam Talbot for the short-handed goal, his 8th of the season. Talbot saved 30-of 33 shots while Flyers goaltender Steve Mason was 34-of-36 in save attempts.

The Rangers had a 2-1 lead after defenseman John Moore scored, 11:55 into the second period, but the Flyers came back to tie it 2:42 later with a goal from forward Michael Raffl.

Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds notched his 25th goal of the year with one second remaining in the game.
